Today’s review is a little different from what I’ve been doing lately for my book reviews but I’d like to take them in this new direction in the future (I’ll still be reviewing novels too, don’t worry!).

I decided to read this book after a brief introduction to ‘The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck’ as presented as a TEDx Talk by the author herself. As a clear parody of Marie Kondo’s hit success ‘The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up’, it does well in the way that it focuses on mental, instead of physical decluttering. However! Anyone who knows me will know how much I LOVE the Kindle Monthly and Daily Deals. If I see a book that I am remotely interested in reading listed for sale, you can bet that there’s a 99% chance I’ll buy it. That being said, I don’t read them when I buy them, and continue to borrow books from the library to read instead.

I imagine like most people, high school took the fun out of reading. You were assigned a book you weren’t particularly interested in, and then proceeded to comb through every detail of imagery, symbolism, and author’s intent. Right?
