Review: Get Your Sh*t Together – Sarah Knight

I decided to read this book after a brief introduction to ‘The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck’ as presented as a TEDx Talk by the author herself. As a clear parody of Marie Kondo’s hit success ‘The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up’, it does well in the way that it focuses on mental, instead of physical decluttering. However! That’s not the book I’m here to review, so I’m going to get straight into it.

TBR: Kindle

Anyone who knows me will know how much I LOVE the Kindle Monthly and Daily Deals. If I see a book that I am remotely interested in reading listed for sale, you can bet that there’s a 99% chance I’ll buy it. That being said, I don’t read them when I buy them, and continue to borrow books from the library to read instead.

This year I am making a pledge to myself to read ALL of the books on my Kindle TBR.

How I Managed to Read More in 2018

I imagine like most people, high school took the fun out of reading. You were assigned a book you weren’t particularly interested in, and then proceeded to comb through every detail of imagery, symbolism, and author’s intent. Right?

I very much felt this way after leaving high school, and especially with starting university, I felt I didn’t have time to invest into reading anyway.
